A disappointing day for Team India at the office...!

The much hyped Test series between India and England starts with a loss to the world champions on Day 5 which was ruled by some good bowling. All said on done the English team are one up with two go.
This was historic and would be a memorable victory for the English players as this was not only the 2000th Test game but also the 100th test between India and England which was played in the home of cricket LORDS.
The wounded Indian team started of the day losing the most bankable player ‘The wall’ early with just 94 on the board and with a massive target to chase. The partnership between Gambhir and Laxman was a short lived adding only 37 runs to the board and it was left to the Lord of the game who received a standing ovation on Day 5 as he walked in to the wicket. The hope of the million cricketing fans was shattered when umpire Billy Bowden raised his crooked finger to adjudge leg before wicket.
Suresh Raina’s partnership with MS Dhoni was not enough for the champions as James Anderson toiled the Indian batting order with excellent bowling spell scalping 5 wickets to seal victory for the home side. The test series is interestingly poised with champions one down looking ahead to start with day one on July 29, 2011 in Nottingham.
As a fan of the Indian team would like all our Indian players to be fit by Friday and battle the game with rigour to level the series and going on to seal the series with 2 -1 to claim this test series....TRAK!
