Himesh is back with ‘BodyGuard’

Finally, the music of the much awaited movie ‘BodyGuard’ is out. I have listened to it and I know that you’d also love them once you would hear this soundtrack. The album has four main tracks and seven remixes along with an instrumental theme music.  The music is composed by Himesh Reshammiya and Pritam. Three songs by Himesh and one by Pritam (song: I love you).

Tracks:

1.       BodyGuard – This song will be a rage amongst everyone not just the fans of Salman. Remember the dialogue from the movie ‘Wanted’ ek baar commitment kar di, toh khud ki bhi nahi sunta? This track also has a dialogue from the man himself in which he says ‘mujh par ek ehsaan karna ke mujh par koi ehsaan na karna’ which would be an instant hit.

2.       I love you – This track is composed by Pritam and is sung by Ash King and Clinton Cerejo. This is the song you might have seen in the theatrical of the movie. This is one of the song from the track is very soothing and is hummable the first time you hear it.

3.       Teri Meri – This is an emotional and the sweetest romantic track of the album sung by none other than Shreya Ghosal and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. This for me is the stand out track of the album and has a superb feel listening to it with alaaps and vibratos. Easily one of the best songs of Himesh Reshammiya till date. Listen to it, you’d love it.

4.       Desi Beat – The beginning music of the song reminds of you a song in the earlier days however this is an out and out Punjabi song with dhol and tun tuna’s sound in it, sung by Mika Singh and Amrita Kakkar. There is a funny element to the sound and will be liked by those who appreciate Punjabi beats in a song with Punjabi lyrics.

Although Himesh Reshammiya has composed the music for ‘BodyGuard’ outside of his own films has not sung any of the tracks in the album which is disappointing for all the fans of Himesh including me. On the whole, the soundtrack has got all the elements one would like to hear and the standout songs of the album are ‘Teri Meri’ by Shreya Ghoshal and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, ‘I love you’ by Ash king and Clinton Cerejo.
